Scoping Variables

  • Global: A variable with global scope can be accessed from anywhere in your PowerShell session. To create a variable with global scope, use the “New-Variable” cmdlet with the “-Scope Global” parameter. For example:

  • Local: A variable with local scope can only be accessed within the current scope. This is the default scope in PowerShell. For example:
